Moving Videos to Another Folder in Panopto

In Panopto, moving files from one folder to another does not change the link to the video, only the access permissions. If two folders have the same access permissions, moving files between them will not change the permissions of the files.

  1. You can move files in Panopto simply by dragging them from one folder to another. If you have multiple files to move, however, it may be easier to use the Move button.
  2. Open the folder that contains the videos you wish to move.
  3. Hover over the thumbnail of the video you wish to move until you see a checkbox in the upper left corner of the thumbnail image.
