Apple TV, Streaming TV Devices, and Gaming Consoles

Game consoles, Smart TVs, and video streaming devices are not permitted on the wireless network because the Wi-Fi bandwidth is limited. Please register these devices on the wired network by following the instructions below.

You can connect your Game Console or wired streaming video device on the college network. But first you must register it.

Click here and follow the instructions for registering your Game Console or streaming video device.

Please make sure your game console, streaming video device or Smart TV has been connected to the WIRED network for at least 10 minutes prior to registration. The registration page is ONLY for WIRED devices as the bandwidth of wifi is limited, so we are not permitting gaming via wireless connectivity. If you are trying to register a device other than a game console or streaming video device, it will not work.

Please read the Network Game and Port Policy prior to registration.
If you have a Cisco AP, or Cisco Box in your room, please email the Ethernet MAC address to gtech@gettysburg.edu after registration.

Click here for more information about Ethernet Network Connections.
